5 Tips for Submitting Your QM Connect Proposal

#QMConnect is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our community, and your voice makes a difference! Get involved in the conversation by submitting your presentation proposal today. Don’t be intimidated if you’ve never presented before — 2022 presenter Heather Braatz of Worsham College of Mortuary Science has put together these five tips for you.?

1. Check out the presentation materials from QM Connect 2022. You'll likely find topics and descriptions that resonate with the challenges you are trying to address!
2. Review the descriptions for the different concentrations and presentation formats. You'll find that some match better than others with the kind of presentation you're proposing, and may ignite your excitement to try out new approaches!
3. Take time to peruse the Call for Proposals entry form. Even if you have never submitted a CFP before, you'll see that it's not nearly as intimidating once you know all the questions on the quiz! ??
4. Reach out to the #QMExplorers and #QualityMatters veterans on social media. All of my favorite educators that I fangirl over live on Twitter and follow @QMProgram!
5. There's a lot to be said for co-presenting. Collaboration is a powerful key to presenting without fear, and a great opportunity to create an amazing presentation with a colleague. #StrongerTogether
