This is how it normally goes: You get people to see your ads, click to go to your website, enter your product page and then…poof…they are gone. ?? And so is your conversion rate!
Why? Your website is not Conversion Rate Optimized… How do you think your Ecommerce Store is going to survive with a measly 0.5% conversion rate (or even lower, ugh...)?
Fret no more, I’ll show you how you can turn this around and skyrocket your CR! See below??
1 - Change your CTA colors ??
Your CTAs must stand out from the rest of the website!
If your brand color is blue, don't use blue CTAs, use yellow for example.
And only use 1 color for the CTAs, that way the user knows that when yellow is on the page that means there's a CTA.
2 - Use Reviews on all of your CTAs ??
Something like: "?????????? 4.8/5 from thousands of happy customers"
If you use specific numbers, even better.
This will tell your potential customers that you are loved by others - super powerful.
BONUS: You can add an actual review (image, review, name, stars) and that will be even better!
3 - Add trust badges & social proof ??
Remember that time when Vogue spoke about your brand? Display it!
Have all of the most known payment methods? Display them!
These will help your client trust you more. They'll see familiar logos and instantly give you more credibility.
BONUS: If you can add these elements above the fold (mobile-first, obviously) you'll see even bigger uplifts in CR.
4. Structure your pages using the AIDA principle ??
A -?Attention
I -?Interest
D -?Desire
领英推荐
A -?Action
4.1 - Grab their attention: by using a strong headline, CTAs that stand out, powerful imagery, and social proof + trust badges/logos.
4.2 - Pique their interest: If they scrolled this far you've done the first part correctly. Now is the time to make them interested in your product, focusing first on the benefits, not the features.
4.3 - Make them desire you: When we see so many people using a product we instantly feel more attracted to it, right? This is the stage where you want to show reviews.
A good review should have:
1. Photo of the person
2. Brief synopsis
3. The review
4. The stars
5. The name
4.4 - Make them act: You should have clear CTAs all across your landing pages, but make sure to make a big emphasis at the end of the page, the people that get there are very very warm!
Here's a landing page we've built recently that follows this principle:?Kaiola LP
5 - KISS - Keep it simple, stupid! ??
Your client should click less than 5 times until he reaches the checkout
Don't overcomplicate it!
Once you have the user journey dialed in, you can start adding changes that incrementally increase AOV, until then, simplify.
