5 Tips For More Successful Facebook Postings

By: www.hanifmr.com

In 2013, 4.75 billion pieces of content were shared on Facebook every day. Today there should be a few more. And do you still post your blog articles on your Facebook page with "Check out this link"? If so, then this blog article is for you. Time to rethink. Time to get relevant again.

4.76 billion content per day. If you take this enormous number, it becomes clear to you why more and more people only “scan” and “read” less and less in social networks. Because if they took the time to look closely at every post on their own pinboard, they might not do anything else all day.

It is therefore all the more important to understand how you can make blog posts visible on social networks.

Get Your Facebook Users Up With A Story

It makes perfect sense to think for a moment how a Facebook post should be structured - and what happens after the click. Ideally, the following points should be served:

  • The user reads your post and feels addressed.
  • He follows the link to the website.
  • He sees a connection to the Facebook post on the website.
  • Because of the increased interest, he reads on.

"Anyone can explain" you might be thinking now. Let's see what that might look like in practice. I put this post online and now I want to publish it on Facebook. After the above steps, I could do something like this:

  • The post with "If you are reading this post, we did something right :-). Read in 5 steps how you can give your Facebook post more boost. ”Publish.
  • The link leads to this blog article.
  • The introduction creates the bridge to the Facebook post.

Call For Action!

When you post a post on your Facebook page, you usually have an intention to do so. Let your fans know! A conscious call to action should be present in the Facebook post.

The action does not necessarily have to motivate you to click a link. Sometimes it is a request for shares, sometimes for comments. Either way: Call your readers for the desired action!

Make People Aware Of Who Should Be Addressed

With more than 100 fans, it becomes difficult to say who the readership of the Facebook posts is actually. It is all the more important to try out different approaches to get to know the target group. Use current events, news, or the like.

There are several ways to ask questions among your fans.

  1. Do you want to know if there are many football fans among your readers? Write a post asking for tips on the next European Championship game.
  2. Do you suspect Apple users among your readers? Write a contribution, introduce the latest leak of the iPhone 56 X, and ask for opinions on the design.
  3. Do your fans drink tea or coffee? Take a poll and pay extra attention to the winning drink the following week.
  4. How do your fans like to ride bikes? Post a picture of a next-generation cheese bike and ask for opinions on the design.

To create surveys, you can use the Facebook survey tool quite easily.

Find The Perfect Time To Publish

There are quite a few articles devoted to the "perfect time" to post a Facebook post. The fact is: only when you know your target group does you know when you can best reach them. For example, students will surf Facebook at a different time than office workers. Likewise creative people at a different point in time than particularly productive people.

Consciously test different publication times over one to three months and then examine how, when and who was reached. Facebook supports you with the statistics on the last posts.

With A Little Budget: A / B Testing

I love A / B testing :-). If you have a little budget for Facebook ads, A / B testing might be interesting for you too. Create two advertisements for this and differentiate them by name. You can adjust the displays according to the rules of A / B testing (read the series of articles on A / B tests).

Let the ads run for a week or two, then see how they responded. From this, you can draw important insights that you can incorporate into the publication of upcoming Facebook posts.

Good luck with planning, publishing, and optimizing your Facebook posts!
