5 tips for moderating panels

Here are my top 5 tips for moderating a panel:?
1. Research how to pronounce everyone’s names and titles: a botched pronunciation isn’t cute or funny, it’s offensive and unprofessional.
2. Meet the panellists beforehand: ideally in person or online, otherwise at the very least make a LinkedIn connection and chat to them at the event early.
3. Memorise and practise your opening: set the scene with confidence!
4. Run the Time Formula: This tells you how many questions to prepare. Check out this video to see the explanation of how the Time Formula works.?
5. Know your final question: this ensures a nice wrap up.
