• Target Audience: Target your audience by their age groups, by their language and by their region. For example, you are planning to start a Vlogging Channel on which you will be sharing your life style. Now imagine, for which age group your vlogs should be and which language you would be using in your videos. If you are using Urdu or Hindi language than there is a huge audience of every age group in subcontinent. But if you are using English language than, there is a possible chance of high engagement all over the world. Just, because it’s an international language. Specify your audience; it will help you to make better connection.
• Start and End (intro and outro): Remember one thing, why anyone is clicking on your video is because the user is looking for some specific information and he/she is imagining that your video has such content (because of the title you are using) which can assist them. So first 6 seconds of every video is considered to be the most important time in which the user decides to stay on your video or to scroll down and watch the other one. Your first impression should be very clear, energetic and specific to your title, thus the user feels that he/she is watching the right content. Similarly, for shooting a video you need some basic equipment. As you are just starting, so all you need is a camera (you can also use your smart phone’s back camera), a tripod and an external microphone.

• Camera: Look you are a beginner, so do not try to buy an expensive camera. Rather, buy a good camera having fine autofocus ability and long lasting battery. It might be Sony, Canon or Nikon. but remember you need good specification not the brand name while choosing camera.
•  Cellphone:Yes exactly, If you do not have enough money to buy a camera, don’t worry at all, a lot of youtubers started making videos on youtube by shooting them on their cell phones. •  Tripod: It’s better to have a stability factor in your video, because nobody will watch a shaky or jerky video for a longtime. So you should buy a camera tripod or a gorillapod. Both of them can help you in making stable video on camera or smart phone.
• Microphone: After having a camera and tripod, now you need the most vital gear and that is your microphone. You can buy a microphone having wire, without wire  or attached microphone.Remember, if your sound quality is good than the user can easily understand what you are talking about.

3)   LOCATION AND LIGHTNING

Location and Lightning is also a key factor in making a quality content. First choose a location where you will record your video and check out the lights by turning ON your camera. Look, if you can invest than invest on good lightning otherwise you can use a room having a window. Here, you can use sun light for making videos (It’s totally free off course) but let me tell you when to use sun light. 

•  After Sunrise: After half an hour of sunrise, you can use that dim and natural light for your videos.
• ·Before Sunset: Mostly video creators recommend the golden light for recording video before the sunsets and believe me its perfect time to shoot your video. Also the sunlight during cloudy and rainy weather is good to go.

4)   TALK LIKE YOU KNOW EVERYTHING

It’s very important for you to have a complete grip on your content that you have planned for your video. While talking, just look in the camera and if you are a camera shy than still not an issue, you can practice looking in the camera before the actual recording. Now while sharing anything with the audience, be energetic, be yourself, talk loudly, quickly and don’t copy anyone else.

5)   INVEST ON YOUR MACHINE

Now after recording a stable video with good sound, you actually need to edit your video. So you need a machine (Laptop or P.C) having some good RAM and Hard disk. Here I must say if you are planning a long time career on youtube than you must invest on your machine. Good machine will give you good results. But if you are not able to buy than here you can take help from your friend who have a laptop and who knows how to use editing software.
