5 Tips that Made Me 7-Figures

Do you have a catalyst for getting to where you want to go?

It doesn’t have to require a lot of intelligence or creativity...

Is it really that easy to get to 7-figures?

In theory yes...if you do these 5 simple things you will ultimately have great success.

The difficulty is bringing them all together.

Here are 5 things that can impact you:

#1 Think Bigger

You need massive think.

When Jarrod Glandt started working for me 9 years ago, the biggest he could possibly think at that time was, "If I could make $250,000 a year…"

He couldn’t fathom thinking he would eventually be making what he is making now. 

Big think ties into the very first thing you have to do if you want to be massively successful.

It can be really hard to do because you can’t think of something you don’t understand. 

In every situation possible you can think ok, ask yourself, "If I were Uncle G, how would I take on this situation?"

Put yourself in "Grant Cardone mode"—it makes thinking bigger easier. 

What I'm saying is, all you have to do is identify yourself with someone that aligns with you and you can dig into them and follow.

There are a lot of experts out there who have great things to say but the problem is when you start getting too many ideas from too many different people... you start to get confused. 

Thinking bigger is the first thing you need to do to get to 7-figures.

Lock into somebody that is already where you want to be.

#2 Always Push for More

Do you have little tweaks and hacks to push for MORE?

I used to get on the very first flight of the morning when I was flying coach, and the second we got wifi I worked. 

Then, I would land and maximize the meetings I could have in that town.

"Hey, can I stop by..." so I was jamming my calendar up.

I would get 7 or more meetings—getting as much as possible done.

Pushing is work.

I am naturally a lazy person but I’ve developed a lot of discipline that’s gotten me to do what I have to do.

The successful add activity to full calendars.

#3 Stay Broke

Once I start making money, never go back to where you were—you have to keep going forward.

I had to stay broke out of fear of really being broke again.

I'm not giving myself the opportunity to mess up with my money.

Get rid of your money and get something to pay you.

Staying broke takes discipline and sacrifice...a severe amount of discipline.

#4 Play a Longer Game

One of the biggest mistake young people make is always thinking short term.

When I was younger I was playing a short game:

"What am I going to do this weekend?"

You can have fun in the short term, but playing the long game is much better.

It's incredibly easy but also difficult.

To execute -you need to have trust and faith in your mentor.

If you want to build a million-dollar company, go follow someone who has multiple million-dollar companies

When you've never been there before you need to go follow and anchor in with someone who has.

#5 Focus on the Thing that Keeps Driving You

You have to be able to connect with your purpose.

There has to be something bigger than a paycheck.

You will continue to go through this in life... at some point the money will not matter.

What’s the difference between $5 and $7 million a year?

Not much, so what is the real reason why you’re here - not just the things I want to have but the things I want to do.

You can’t do that unless you have great mentors.
