Although, there are so many things to learn in Google Ads but here are the 5 things that one must learn to become a Google Ads Expert.
1. Writing Ad Copy to get at least 10% CTR.
Writing an effective Ad copy that is relevant and intrigues users to click on the ad is the most needed skill for a Google Ads Expert.
Writing Responsive Ads is a skill and to develop it you will have to understand the Ad delivery mechanism and write ads accordingly.
2. Setting Conversion Tracking.
Conversion Tracking is very easy but could be challenging if you are doing it for the first time.
You should know how to track Lead Form conversions and how to track App Conversions.
3. Structuring the Campaign.
Once you understand and know how to create an account structure, you have already become an expert.
Account Structuring should be done based on Keyword Bucket and Keywords should be classified into a bucket based on interest.
I prefer to create a separate campaign for each page and then create an Ad Group for each Keyword bucket.

4. Improve Keyword Quality Score.
Quality Score is very important if you want to bring clicks at minimum cost and get more impressions share.
Quality score is given by Google Ads to each keyword. The score is between 0-10, where 10 is the best and 1 is the worst.
To improve quality score, you need to coordinate with the SEO and Content Team as well.?
If you can learn the basics of SEO then you can guide and coordinate with SEO people more effectively.
5. Deciding the Budget and Bidding Strategy.
You need to decide the bidding strategy for each campaign that gets aligned with your campaign and client goal.
I like to tweak the campaign and bidding based on the performance of each keyword in an Ad group, so I always go for manual bidding.
Sometimes Automated bidding is unavoidable like in UAC campaigns or if your campaign is not getting enough impressions share.
Bonus Tip: Don't enable all extensions, just pick and select 1-2 extensions which are relevant to your campaign.
