2. The Art of Contract Negotiation
Carrie Fisher once said, “Everything is negotiable. Whether or not the negotiation is easy is another thing.”
This is especially true when you’re starting and growing a small business. From months before you start your business to the day you retire, negotiating will be a common occurrence.
So it’s essential that you know how to negotiate. There are a lot of books, blogs, courses, and articles you can (and should) read. A good place to start is with this post on contract negation, offering six solid and smart tips.

3. What Do Teens Want?
?Apparently, they want to eat Cheez-Its. No, really. That’s one of the findings from a biannual survey of teens from the investment bank Piper Sandler Companies.
You may think, “This doesn’t matter to me,” but depending on the type of business you own, it can. Did you know teens spend $2,419 a year? And millions are buying what you’re selling.
Teen girls, for instance, spend most of their money on clothes and fashion accessories. And teen boys spend the most on food.
Gen Z is still very concerned about political and social issues and prefers to do business with companies that reflect their values.
And yes, teens say they have the “highest intention” of eating more Cheez-Its.

4. How’s the Weather?
?We’ve had the weirdest weather this year—and it’s only April. Last week, where I live in New Jersey, it almost hit 90 degrees—and, again, it’s only April! Friends of mine in southern California actually had snow in their yard this past winter.
So it’s more important than ever to have an accurate weather app so you’re always aware and prepared.
Most phones come with built-in weather apps, but they’re not always the most reliable.
So check out Mashable’s three recommended alternative weather apps for iPhones. One even delivers your forecasts with “personality.”
