If the school decides to teach this in their curriculum then very soon we will be seeing 25-year-olds driving a Ferrari in the street.
Here are the 5 things school should have taught us:
We were all taught to take orders from someone superior to us.?
Either a teacher or a boss.
Nobody taught us how to think for ourselves and live life on our own terms.
You can’t be truly happy unless there is a sense of autonomy in your life.
2. How to Invest
I still don’t know a single school that even teaches students what investing even means.
Students should be taught early on how to invest in financial instruments for appreciation.
It is a life skill.
If you don’t know how to invest your money in a way it least beats inflation - you will be left behind.
3. How to Manage Stress
Not all stress is bad.
Good stress - is the one which you experience when you try something new.
Or when you hit the gym, is supposed to be good.
People should know a healthy understanding of good stress vs bad stress.
4. How to Be an Entrepreneur
80% of small businesses fail.
The reason for that?
Nobody taught us how to start and grow a business.
If we come from a non-business background
5. How to Build Your Net Worth
There is only one way to build your net worth in the long term:
You need to own equity in an appreciating asset.
It can be stocks, real estate, or a business.
That’s the 3 line summary of building your net worth.
