1) Reflections on July
Time passes by quickly and I can’t believe it’s August already. Last month was exciting and fun where I met lots of great people, experienced new things, and learned a lot about myself. I got the opportunity to go on a Wilderness Retreat organized by CCAL where I learned about the Indigenous Peoples and Cultures. During that one week, I got connected with the land, sat in silence, and uncovered life lessons from nature. I also met 14 amazing, unique, and kind people during the trip. Last month, I went to Golden to do the scary and exciting Giant Canyon Swing. I got the opportunity to speak at 2 different events about my story and how networking changed my life. I must say, it was a relaxing month where I slept and ate properly after such a long time. I am excited to make the most out of this month and see where life takes me.
2) What I am watching?
For the last few months, I have been trying to learn more about how to communicate effectively and the art of storytelling. I always knew who Bill Burr was, but never watched any of his standups. This week, I took the time to watch some of his standup comedies and I love the way he tells stories. I struggle with telling stories in a captivating way and Bill Burr does such an amazing job in captivating the audience by sharing stories.?
