5 WAYS TO BECOME A LUCKY PERSON

5 WAYS TO BECOME A LUCKY PERSON

  1. GET STARTED ON SOMETHING Action brings opportunities (Some think it's luck) Many people often think others are very lucky for things that come to them. More often the lucky ones brought the luck to themselves. I recently started a project with many of my peers where we created a "Think Tank" to share ideas and strengths with one another. We all stated over and over we have no idea how this Think Tank will look a year from now but we were all confident it would look different than when we begin. We knew it would change, we too will be changing and growing and it will be great. If you set yourself up with the expectation of change going into any project, it is much easier to adjust and pivot as needed. How does this have anything to do with being a lucky person? It does in many ways. We just started the project, we didn't wait for everything to be perfect, we took our first steps into action.
  2. MAKE THE TIME We had a very hard time fitting everything into our schedule. We all have crazy schedules and it took some back and forth but we carved out time to make this Think Tank possible. This in itself is helping us all to become lucky because we took the time to fit it in. We must make the time for personal growth to become lucky.
  3. NOTICE STRENGTHS IN OTHERS Each and every one of us who is part of this project has a special strength and once we began to focus on all the strengths each of us bring to the table, it allowed us to focus our attention in ways we can grow and learn. You must be open to growing and learning. Many times in our field we think we know most aspects of it. We do not. Be open to growing and learning from others to bring luck to yourself.
  4. CONSISTENCY We decided to remain consistent with the Think Tank Project and have a call twice a month to keep everything Top of Mind. The compound effect of consistency can bring a lot of luck!
  5. ADD VALUE Last of all we agreed to bring as much value as we can each time to the call to give to each other. When providing value to others it always brings more success or luck! Adding value to others becomes addictive once you see the reward or the luck associated with it.
