5 Systems you need to generate consistent clients
Hello,
As we move into 2024 no doubt it will be another exhilarating year. Having worked closely with hundreds of founders over the years, I've noticed a recurring challenge. It's not procrastination, not being good at fulfilment or even having the right team.
The largest bottleneck most businesses encounter is, quite simply, not having enough clients.
Without a steady stream of clients, growth stagnates, and the ripple effects can be crippling. The solution lies in developing and mastering specific systems designed to consistently generate more clients and propel your business forward.
I would like to share 5 key systems that we've identified through our work with various founders and consultants that will help you generate more clients this year:
1. Referral System
A good referral can be like gold dust for businesses. The challenge lies in creating a steady, reliable stream of these golden opportunities. The answer to this could be as simple as changing how you ask for referrals.
For example, instead of saying, "Do you know anyone who could benefit from our services?" try asking, "Can I ask you for a small favour? You wouldn’t happen to know one person who was in a similar position as you were before we started working together, would you?"
Then wait. Be patient and let them think. This approach is far more personal, and it increases the likelihood of a positive response. It's a small tweak, but it has proven to significantly impact referral rates.
2. Inbound System
The power of inbound marketing is in creating magnetic content—content so compelling it draws potential clients to you. This approach builds trust, enhances your reputation, and piques curiosity about your offerings.
However, ensuring that your content reaches and resonates with your audience is often the stumbling block for many businesses. The solution is consistent added value. Ask yourself if your content genuinely stands out and whether it creates enough curiosity for people to understand more about what you do.
Remember, creating great content is just half the battle won. The other half is engaging with the audience who interact with your content. Respond to comments, answer questions, and maintain a dialogue. This level of engagement solidifies the trust you're building with your audience.
The first 2 systems are great, however they aren’t predictable. Instead we MUST have the other systems to really generate consistent clients.

3. Cold Outreach System
While the Inbound System is about bringing clients to you, the Outreach System takes the opposite approach - it's about you reaching out to potential clients.
LinkedIn is by far still the best platform for outreach, combining AI capabilities with a human touch for optimum results.
If what you’re doing at the moment isn’t working, analyse factors like targeting, messaging, and personalisation to stand out and be a real solution for potential clients. You want to actively engage with them in a human way if you want to convert them into clients. Do not lead with the pitch, be human and ADD VALUE. This approach works time and time again.
What’s great about cold outreach is that it’s the most cost effective solution for many entrepreneurs as it requires time and not much money. However, the biggest challenge is that it isn’t scalable. This is where you need another system:
4. The Client Generating Machine
This is by far the most effective way for you to generate consistent revenue for your business. You need to build a machine where you can put £2000 in and generate £10,000 out. As soon as you have a machine that does this, you now have a vehicle to scale your business sustainably.
For most of our clients this is using Snap Ads which is a specific type of Linkedin Paid advertising which is working incredibly well. If you’re curious how this works feel free to?check out some videos here?which explains what’s involved and what to expect.
If you want to hop on a call with us just let us know, a lot of our clients are moving towards this for their #1 Q1 strategy to generate consistent leads.
5. Nurture System
The final piece of the puzzle is the Nurture System. It's about building a relationship with potential clients, helping them understand the value of your services, and guiding them along the customer journey. One effective way of doing this is through testimonials. They provide a real-life narrative of the pain points you alleviate, how you assist, and the results that clients can expect when they work with you.
Maintaining a steady line of communication and consistently adding value-based content are crucial aspects of this system. A reliable marketing workflow that systematically nurtures warm leads in your email list can significantly impact your business growth.
In the grand scheme of your business, these 5 systems serve as the cornerstones for sustainable growth. They provide a framework that helps you avoid the client bottleneck and keep your business moving forward.
Warmly
