5 Strategies to Repair Negative Interactions with Your Child(ren)

My name is Leisa Walker and I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over ten years. I have worked with children, adolescents and families from vulnerable populations through a number of environments, including schools, hospitals and more. I currently work at St. Peters University Hospital as a clinician who identifies mental health needs and appropriate service recommendations for children/adolescents impacted by trauma.

Naturally, the effects of COVID-19 (quarantine, loss of jobs, increased anxiety/stress/depression) may leave parents feeling overwhelmed and impatient. During these unprecedented times, I think it is important to help parents find ways to effectively interact with their children.
