5 Steps to Become Resilient and Cultivate an Ethical Growth Mindset in the Age of AI

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial general intelligence (AGI) are currently transforming the world. They profoundly impact people’s lives and solve society’s most critical challenges. However, the pace of these developments is slowed by some issues, such as data access, algorithmic bias, AI ethics and transparency, and AI legal liability. AI systems sometimes draw wrong conclusions from data, confuse fact and fiction, and present a half-baked mixture as the truth. Due to these shortcomings, we don’t maximize AI benefits. Due to the power of AI and added value for humanity, this must be worked on by not only improving the algorithms and datasets but mainly working on embedding the purpose-driven and human-centered AI model and the purpose-driven and human-centered AI governance concept that I recently proposed, building an ethical learning culture in the organization, and making AI and AGI purpose-driven and human-centered and thus transform society for the better.

AI/AGI solutions must be purpose-driven and human-centered. It must be in line with the personal and shared purposes so that the focus is on serving humanity, improving our society, and creating a better and just future. To this end, organizations must ensure that a culture of ethical people is central to AI and that their AI initiatives align with personal and shared purposes and contribute to the improvement of society. Sam Altman’s leadership shift at OpenAI emphasized the importance of transparency and prompted a reevaluation of ethical considerations in AI development and organizational decision-making. The incident raised questions about transparency, accountability, and the urgent need for robust, purpose-driven & human-centered ethical frameworks to sustainably guide the development and deployment of AI/AGI technologies.

The Resilience Roadmap?

Resilience and an ethical growth mindset are crucial when dealing with AI.?Personal Disruptive Innovation is the roadmap to develop this effectively. This roadmap involves the following five steps: 1. Personal Ambition, 2. Personal Brand, 3. Personal Innovation Strategy, 4. Implementation, and 5. Personal Integrity & Empathy. This model is illustrated below:

This model will help you develop visionary, imaginative, and empathetic thinking. Instead of thinking outside the box, you’ll think like there is no box. The key is to develop self-knowledge and self-learning to drive personal innovation, which can help you become more resilient and authentic and sharpen your authenticity, integrity, empathy, and critical thinking skills. Remember that without self-knowledge, personal innovation, a strong mindset, and personal integrity, you won’t be able to succeed as an empathetic and disruptive innovator. This system will unlock your creative potential and imagination while honing your authenticity, integrity, empathy, and critical thinking skills. It will guide your beliefs and actions, helping you discover your purpose in life and leading to a more fulfilling, content, and healthier life, personally and professionally.

Personal disruptive innovation is a system that helps you explore and redesign your life, build resilience, and develop your personal brand. It enables you to define your higher calling and discover your life’s purpose. Elon Musk once said: “Attach yourself to a mission, a calling, a purpose only. That’s how you keep power and your peace. It worked pretty well for me this far”. You can become a visionary, imaginative, and empathetic individual using the personal disruptive innovation model. This involves using self-learning to translate your self-knowledge into personal innovation and to develop skills such as resilience, authenticity, integrity, strategic thinking, and critical thinking, which are crucial in the AI era. This system will also help unleash your creative potential and imagination and will help you skillfully analyze information from observation, experience, reflection, and reasoning. .... Read further
