It's best to treat your potential candidates well and with respect as to give them a good experience during the hiring process. Many companies tend to leave these potential candidates without any updates from their end, and thus may make them feel upset. Doing this can taint your employer brand, so always ensure to return the same energy to the candidates.

A non-practical hiring process? What does that mean? Well, some companies conduct around 3 to 4 interviews which can be a hassle to the candidates. A lengthy application process will make you lose a number of great applicants that could apply to your company. It is better for candidates to go through a 3-step application process than a 10-step process because the lesser the step, the better!

  • Posting poor job ads

As an employer, your first impression towards a candidate is by looking at their resumes. The same goes with the candidates. The first thing they'll look at when searching for a job is reading the job ads. Always put an effort to proofread and double-check for any grammatical errors or vague information in your job ads. Consider your job ads as a way to attract the candidates to apply to your company.
