5 scary things to be aware to take care of your health part 4 ??

What things you should be aware when you think about to take care of your health?

This week, because we celebrate Halloween and "Dia de Muertos" I will share with you some things you need to PAY ATTENTION

Beyond death, what scares you most?


As I mentioned in the previous parts of this serie, to be afraid is not bad after all. Fear although is an unpleasant emotion, it also serves as protection when we perceive or recognize a danger ??


To have some fear can avoid to get you into dangerous behaviours such as consuming drugs or putting yourself in risky situations


Another fear I have is to get sick. Most people think about sickness as "normal" but is not. We were created perfect and healthy and is our duty to preserve that gift ??


Then we get into the question: why we get sick?


Most of us get sick because OUR LIFESTYLE ??


That includes OUR DIET, THE AMOUNT OF EXERCISE WE DO EVERYDAY, THE AMOUNT BUT ALSO QUALITY OF OUR SLEEP AND THE RELATIONSHIPS WE HAVE


There are another several factors that make us sick: these are related to OUR ENVIRONMENT, OUR EMOTIONS AND GENETICS


Genetics can also play a role, but even those can be modified through our lifestyle and environment


The last piece in the puzzle is OUR MICROBIOME ??


I didn′t realize how important this piece was, until I got sick. We need to take care of our microbes, because they live with and within us


Our microbes are affected by our lifestyle, our emotions and environment. If you live for instance in a TOXIC one ???? they as humans, will reproduce in order to thrive. To understand toxicity piece was also huge to recover my health


Although they have their own genetics, they are also affected by ours


It sounds hard, right? We need to PAY ATTENTION in all of these factors to preserve OUR GIFT


Unfortunately, most people don′t. They usually think of health, as a characteristic that some people have and others, like them, don′t have


That way of thinking also applies for mental health. As society, we usually think about it, as something we can "fix" with drugs ?? or if we are lucky with some kind of therapy


As I read once: "We are a society that wake up with Prozac and get sleep with Rivotril"


So...


Today, as we still celebrate "Dia de Muertos" here are some suggestions


  1. If you are afraid not only death, but also get sick, welcome to my club. Accept fear as a protective measure and take responsibility for it
  2. Don′t live in fear, instead, take actions that help you to preserve your health like to have a good diet, the right amount of exercise and to improve your sleep and the quality of your relationships. If you don′t know how, I would love to help you. CONTACT ME to learn more
