Ok - this is a biggie isn't it but one you must address if next year is going to be different.
You had capacity to take more clients on.?
You said you wanted to grow your business.
And, you have actively been doing things to market and promote your business.
But, the reality is, you've still not gained clients in the numbers you want to.?
You can't quite put your finger on what needs to change.?
It's beyond frustrating.?
But you know that in order to hit your goals and targets over the coming year you must increase your sales and bring on new clients.
The answer isn't to "do more" marketing even that's your usual go to default.?
I mean, "doing more" simply leads you to feel overworked, overstretched and over loaded and most of all properly fed up because it feels like you've been working hard and not seeing the results you see others celebrating online.
Don't get me wrong....if you are doing nothing to market and promote your business then you need to "do more" but most of you reading this?will likely be doing some marketing and have some clients already but you know and you're feeling the pull of being able to achieve more.
Here's 5 reasons that may mean you've not gained enough clients this year....
You've not nailed your marketing message.?
And it's not attracting the right kind of clients.?
You don't stand out and frankly, you sound like all of the other people out there who do a similar thing to you.?
The trick here is to "go deep".
List out the 4 or 5 key pains, problems and challenges your total dreamboat client has and then go deeper by asking yourself these questions.?
How is that problem showing up on a daily basis?
What or who is being impacted?
What are the implications of that problem not being resolved??
How has that problem come about??
What's the reasons that your total dreamboat client doesn't believe they can overcome that problem?
List them all out and keep going until you've run out of things to say.?
You're connecting but not building a relationship.?
Know, like and trust.?
You've probably heard that phrase before haven't you??
If you're not consistently nurturing your audience and connections and just wanting them to buy your stuff then I'm sorry to say you're sadly mistaken.??
Serve your audience and above all be consistent.?
Show up, be visible be curious about other people and don't be afraid to start a conversation by asking questions!
It's the easiest way to strike up a conversation and conversations equate to opportunities!
You're adopting the passive approach.
You've built the landing page.
You've done the promo.
And you've told the world about it.

Still no one buys your stuff.?
So you start questioning whether your price is too high?
Do you need to include more bonuses?
Maybe there's someone better out there than you? (Arrggghh!!)
Why does no one want your stuff?!
Here's the reality - you have to follow up.?
Be proactive.
By following up, and being even a tiny bit more proactive then you'll make more sales.?
Think about looking at who's opened your emails and following up with them - "What made you click on the link?"
Who is consistently liking, commenting and watching what you're doing...."Thank you for your support" and follow that up with a powerful question.?
Yes some people might buy from seeing a landing page if they?really want your thing now but being proactive helps you convert more of the people who are on the fence and therefore you make more sales!
You're inadvertently confusing your audience and not articulating your value
How??
Why?
What now??
Yes I know, no one told you this before did they??
Because you've got too many offers for too many different kind of people and trying to be everything to everyone no one is quite sure about what they can buy and how they can work with you.
And then when you do post a "salesy" post no one lands in your inbox.?
Remember, your dream client is looking for an expert to help them get a result and resolve their problem so you have to be clear that you're the specialist.?
An expert in your field.?
Be clear with what you help people with and how they can work with you and what their life will look like AFTER they've worked with you!
Your sales process is haphazard and even you're confused as to what it is!
So your sales process doesn't have to be long winded and you definitely don't need fancy funnels and expensive tech.?
You simply need to define what happens next and have a clear process for prospecting, converting those into warm leads, qualifying them and closing them into paying clients!
Simples really.....
If you're not clear on your process and what you want the outcome to be at each stage then your dream client certainly won't be and confused people do not buy!
Let me know if this has been useful and if you take some action off the back of it, keep me posted!
Big love.?
