5 Reasons You Should Switch to Kajabi Today

Helping creatives turn their talent into profit through digital products and courses | Kajabi Expert | Education for DIYers
As a Studio focused on helping creatives develop digital products and courses, we are immersed every day in ecommerce platforms and tools. Some are really amazing and some are not so great (like MailChimp).
You can find free tools that give you just enough to accomplish your goal, but you won’t have enough functionality to grow and experiment. Many of them just do a single thing and you have to go find more tools to achieve the result you’re after.
That’s fine in the beginning when you’re not sure of what you’re doing. That’s the time to try out different tools, fail big, waste a little money and ultimately discover your audience, offerings and systems.
But once you do that, it’s time to upgrade to a platform that will be with you long term. One that gives you a solid foundation on which to build a successful business. There are a few platforms that offer you a lot of room to grow. The one we work with the most in this Studio is Kajabi.?
It’s one of just a few platforms that offer you the kind of features every online business needs under a single “roof.” Rather than having to set up and manage a bunch of different platforms and praying they all work together consistently, you can put all your stuff on Kajabi and not worry about whether something will function properly.
Our clients have had a lot of success with Kajabi and we’ve had a lot of fun building out the platform to fit their needs. You can join them and let us build you a hub for your operations, marketing and sales.
Here are five reasons why Kajabi is our preferred platform.
IT OFFERS THE BIG THREE
The big three - that’s what I call these three elements of online business: a website, email marketing and product sales. Those are the three main things you need in order to have a business that makes money online. You need an online presence, a way to communicate with your audience and an eCommerce platform to sell your stuff.
Sure, you can find other tools that do each of these things. And they’ll all be separate platforms with their own pricing structure, limitations and integrations.
Here’s an example of a tech stack one of our clients was using before working with my Studio:
She was paying almost $400 a month to do all this. She was also underutilizing all of these platforms. When you pay almost $200 a month for something, you want to maximize it to get your money’s worth. But when you have to manage all these platforms and make them work together, it can become overwhelming quickly. My client was barely getting by and there was so much more she could be doing.
So we migrated her to Kajabi and got rid of all of these tools. Now she just has to log into one place to manage everything.
Would you really want to manage all these AND create content, work with clients and you know… sleep? Probably not. Kajabi combines these things into one single hub.?
IT’S BUILT TO SELL
One of the best reasons to use Kajabi is that it’s built with a single purpose: to sell your stuff. Kajabi’s powerful automation lets you continuously bring in and nurture new subscribers and tell them about your offerings. Its behavior-based automation lets you set up different pathways based on what people do and buy. Every part of it is set up to help you make money.
With Kajabi’s growth plan, you get the benefit of its conditional automation so you can keep people engaged and aware of what you’re selling at all times - without having to spend hours a day writing emails and configuring things in the platform.?
We’ve helped clients maximize this feature not just to sell one thing, but to upsell and cross-sell and keep people engaged. There are lots of ways to make Kajabi work for you so you can do whatever you want.
IT’S ONE PRICE
There’s this idea out there that Kajabi is super expensive. And if you’re trying to do everything for free, you might think that. But good tech costs money and eventually, every successful business owner has to use some of their budget for these platforms.
And you will need a lot of tech:?

All of that adds up to a big chunk of money every month. And here’s something people don’t consider: with many platforms, the more you grow on them the more you have to spend with them.
Take email marketing - you might pay $29 a month on Kit (formerly ConvertKit) for 300 subscribers. But once you’ve hit that number (which will probably be quickly), you’re bumped up to $59 a month for an additional 700 subs. And it just increases from there. After a short amount of time, you’re paying $100 or more per month just for email marketing.
With Kajabi’s growth plan, you’re paying $199 a month for 25,000 subscribers. That’s an enormous amount of room to grow without your payment ever increasing. And with room for 15 products, you can create a powerhouse suite of courses and programs that will easily take care of that monthly payment.
IT REDUCES YOUR TECH HEADACHES
I say “reduces” and not eliminates because it’s impossible to get rid of all tech issues. Nothing is perfect and things will arise that need to be fixed.?
But imagine using three or four different platforms and having to search to find a glitch or where something went wrong. I’ve seen Zapier turn off zaps with no notice just because of a misfire. It can be a nightmare, especially in the middle of a launch. Leadpages recently went down for a whole day and I had to scramble with a client to find a workable solution.
When you use Kajabi, you not only have a team of engineers behind it making sure everything continuously works. You have a single place to manage. Someone didn’t get their login credentials? Go into their record and send them a new password. Want to send an email after someone completes a course module? You don’t need Zapier for that. Just a Kajabi automation.
A single platform instead of 5? Sounds like a better solution.
