5 Reasons You Lack Focus ??

Whatever you thrive to achieve, you need focus. Here are 5 reasons that are draining your focus and keeping you away from achieving your goals.

  • You surround yourself with distractions

Today’s teenagers and youngsters are massively distracted by tv shows and social media and are addicted to seeking immediate pleasure. When a notification comes, you are most likely to pause your work and get on with using your mobile relentlessly. So, switch off your mobile notifications, sit in a place with no tv and tell your parents to not disturb you. Something is going to come up always to keep us engaged. It’s in our hands to decide what’s important and what’s not.

  • Getting into a wrong relationship

Committing to a relationship to not feel lonely and to have some kind of validation is not going to help you in anything but drains your focus and eats your time.

  • You do not like what you’re working on

If you don’t get joy, meaning, and happiness out of your work, you cannot be focused. So either go and change your work or find a way to do the same work joyfully. Whatever you do make sure you love what you do in order to be focused.

  • Sleep deprivation

For the brain to be focused and function actively, you need to give enough sleep and downtime to it. Many studies have shown lack of sleep leads to bad focus, bad attention, and bad memory recall. Prioritize your quality of sleep and give enough rest to your body.

  • You don’t have a proper schedule

You cannot be focused if you don’t know what are you going to do today. Imagine if you wake up with no plan, 1 hour is going to get passed like clouds to think about what you are going to do today. To the maximum, you will be able to complete only one task. But instead, if you have a schedule of tasks you’re going to work on that day and an estimated time to finish them, you are most likely to get more things done with focus and save a good amount of time.

These are the small reasons that are keeping your focus down. Hope you recognize it and start solving it by today.
