You will hear all about our experience and our biggest takeaways. You will also be in the know about the amazing interviews we have coming your way.

So, don’t miss this event recap!

  • [25:00] The right reason for wearing black gloves

The Food Safety Consortium is much different than other industry events and is so worth going to. Here’s why:

1. The Intimate Environment

The environment is super welcoming and the energy is just incredible. It’s intimate and gives attendees the opportunity to talk, laugh, and just connect with ease. It is very nice.

2. The Quality of the People

Everybody, from the person in charge of the FDA and the USDA, to leaders of multiple corporations are in this building at the same time, all ready and willing to speak to whoever would like to speak to them because they have the time to do that.

3. The Best Networking Event in Food Safety

The event is not overwhelming. You can come with an agenda, do what you intend to do, if you plan ahead looking at who's going to be there and what it is you want to accomplish, and still have time to have those networking conversations, without having to worry about running 16 blocks to the other side of the building to your next panel.?

4. The Quality of the Topics Discussed

There's something there for everybody, from what's happening currently in the industry to regulatory discussions that need to happen, all with the heavy hitters in each topic.

5. We’ll Be There ??

Rick Biros, the organizer of the Food Safety Consortium, has invited us back next year, so we will be at the Food Safety Consortium again in 2025 with our mics.

So, if you want to meet us in person and/or get interviewed for the Don't Eat POOP! A Food Safety Podcast make sure you’re also there ??

This is on my wishlist of events to attend as a food safety professional. Great episode, thank you for bringing a fresh perspective and insight on numerous topics and I especially enjoy the banter that you both share in each episode.
