5 Reasons “WHY” to wake up early & You can do it.

"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”
– Ben Franklin.

Getting up early morning is one of the challenging parts of our human life.

Most of the famous & successful personalities wake up early morning between 3:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. & they believe that early rising is key to success and growth in life.

Even there is Brahmamuhurta where all saints get up between 3:30 A.M. & 5:30 A.M. to do meditation & other life rituals.

After a good night's sleep, the mind is refresh, calm and serene. There is the preponderance of sattva or purity in mind at this time and in the atmosphere.

Do you know?

Our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, wakes up at 5:00 A.M. and starts his day with yoga and meditation; Apple CEO Tim Cook starts his mornings at 3:45 A.M.

There are multiple books on this topic, and most of them are the best seller as well. You can browse and read. I have read Morning Miracel & 5 A.M. Club, and both have changed my perspective towards life & morning.

Here are a few famous personalities who wake before 6:00 A.M.

  • Naveen Jain wakes up between 4:30 A.M. to 5:00 A.M.
  • Indra Nooyi wakes up around 4:00 A.M.
  • Michelle Obama wakes up around 4:30 A.M.
  • Barack Obama, Ex-President of the USA, gets up around 5:30 A.M.
  • AOL CEO Tim Armstrong starts his day at 5:00 A.M.
  • CEO at Disney: Bob Iger rises at 4.30
  • Rajinikanth, a famous Bollywood Actor, wakes up at 5:00 A.M.
  • Akshay Kumar, a famous Bollywood Actor, wakes up at 4:30 A.M.
  • P V Sindhu, Badminton Player she hits the stadium by 4:30 A.M.
  • Deepika Padukone, an Actress, wakes up at 5:00 A.M.

It varies from person to person; some feel refreshed after 8 hours of sleep, some after 4 to 6 hours, so it changes.

But with the help of intense meditation, you can reduce your sleep hours & have a deep sleep. Also, some Buddhist texts suggest that proficient meditators sleep around 4 hours a night.

I sleep around 5–6 hours (usually 6 hrs) and feel refreshing.

Remember, when you wake up early morning, you’re ahead of more than 90% of people in this universe, which determines your success as well.

“Lose an hour in the morning & you will spend the whole day looking for it” - Richard Whately.

I want to highlight 5 "WHY" reasons to wake up early morning ...!!!

1. You will get time to think & connect with yourself.

“Generally we don’t think at all, just follow the crowd. “

Remember “We Become What We Think About”

If you get up just one hour earlier each morning, you will gain 15 days in a year & two hours more first then, you would gain 30 days in a year.

Scary when you put it like this way.

How many days of our lives do we waste sleeping?

Think over it

If you are time deficient, then sleep less, you only need a max of 6 to 7 hours of sleep a night, and if you meditate and practice deep sleep, it could be just 4 to 5 hours. Any more is wasting life.

So when you get up early, which means before 1 to 2 hours more shortly than usual, you will get time to think, understand yourself and connect yourself; when you compare yourself, your inner voice, your real personality will come out.

2. You will get time to plan

"If you fail to plan, then you’re planning to fail"
- Benjamin Franklins.

Morning is a valuable time of day because how you spend your morning can often tell you what kind of day you are going to have, So when you get up early morning, you will have enough time to plan your day post your morning rituals like meditation, workouts and win the day.

You can plan your day in many ways to bring out most of the day.

3. You & your body will feel peace.

“A morning is a beautiful blessing, either cloudy or sunny. It stands for hope, giving us another start of what we call Life. “

The silence in the morning holds lots of expectations and is more hopeful than the silence at night.

Early morning is a time when no traffic noise, no cars, no kids yelling, no babies crying, no television noise.

The early morning hours are so peaceful, so quiet that you feel only when you get up.

It’s my favorite time of day. I genuinely enjoy that time of peace, that time to myself, when I can think when I can read, when I can breathe.

4. You will get time to read.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he or she dies. The man who doesn’t read lives only once.”

When you wake up in the morning, you will get time to read where you can read books to enhance your knowledge and perform better in personal & professional life.

Remember, most real learning happens in professional life via self-help book, not via formal education, and you can read the following books to start if you haven't started & want to start.

5. You will have time for Personal Development & Self mastery.

Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive; I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I will use all my energies to develop myself and expand my heart out to others.

The most important person in your life is "YOU," and everything revolves around you, so when you become a better version of yourself, everything gets better. Your life has to evolve just like product changes.

These are just 5 "WHY" reasons behind waking up early morning, and there could be many.

Waking up early morning can be hard, but it is worth doing it.

Now, I will add that if you’ve read the above points and they’ve inspired you to wake up earlier than you usually do, you should probably ease into things. Don’t set your alarm for 4:30 a.m. if you’re used to getting up at 7:00 or 8:00 a.m.! It will be too much of a shock, you’ll fail, and you’ll get frustrated. Instead, set your alarm 15 to 30 minutes earlier than usual until it’s no longer a shock. Then, work your way back to your desired wake-up time.

Happy Early Rising & Good Luck ..!!!
