We have often seen parents worrying about their children when they are not able to do their school projects or assignment. Some subjects are difficult for children to understand and hence they find reasons to not do their assignments.
As parents, it's pretty obvious that you will feel bad seeing them crying and getting anxious about not completing their school projects on time.
But in the majority, we have seen that parents help their children with school projects.
This should not be done as it is not good for children.
Let's find out some reasons why parents should not do their children's school projects.
1. Dependency:
If parents are doing their child's homework or project, it makes them dependent on you. At some point in life, children have to go back and forth to pave their own way, and they cannot be dependent on their parents for every task. There are certain things that they need to do on their own. Hence, completing their project will make them dependent.
2. Not developed cognitive functions:
School projects are not simply for grades but are also for improving and enhancing a child's cognitive functions. By doing certain tasks assigned through school projects, they achieve overall cognitive development. If parents will do their school projects then this, in return hampers their productivity and cognitive functions.

3. Communication barriers:
If a parent helps or completes the complete assignment, then this leads to communication barriers between peers of their children. There are certain tasks that they need to do on their own, and if they require any help, then they are supposed to discuss it with their peers first. This is the first rule for boosting communication skills, and if parents help them, then it will create communication trouble in the future.
4. Hampers confidence:
Every child comes with his unique abilities, and if for any reason parents are doing their entire school project then the talent of children does not come out openly. It hampers their confidence.
5. Will not be able to learn the process:
Every learning phase comes with different processes, and children must follow them to be ready for the future. The dependency on parents might hamper their learning process.
These are some reasons that show parents should not do the entire school project. If they want their child to score high grades or complete the assignment and project on time, then professional guidance is a must.
