5 Reasons Why the Next iPhone Will Have 1 TB of Storage

These are just patterns I've recognized.
1) Its been done before
Apple is notorious for waiting to see how technology works and is adopted by other competitors before Applefying it.
Applefy - verb: to make products more "hip" and generally more user friendly.
Samsung's 1 TB phone is already available.
Apple is already using 1TB Flash Storage on their iPad Pros.
2) Unlimited Download from Carriers
Pretty much all the Major Carriers in the U.S. have some sort of unlimited plan. While many of these plans have "soft caps", they are offering boat-loads of monthly bandwidth that has been increasing steadily over time. I expect this trend to increase just like it did with the last "G" transformation.
Our expectations for our mobile carriers is pretty monumental, we want blazing fast speeds, everywhere, for everyone, all the time.
3) 5G - The Counter Argument
Now this is a double-edge sword.
On the one hand, 5G will enable users to have access to overwhelming amounts of data. Downloading VR experiences and the first 2 Seasons of SuperStore to watch later. This will take massive amounts of storage.
On the other hand, 5G enables users to have almost no storage on their device if they want to stream and upload everything they do. Maybe I'll write more on this later.
4) The Cameras - 4K @ 60 fps
Using either of the the file formats offered by iPhone (HEVC & h.264) you can get about 20 hours of recording time if you don't have any other files on your phone, like maybe emails, messages, apps?
These files are HUGE and becoming more mainstream every day. We expect 4K even our dorky corgi videos, and I don't think I'm the odd-man out when saying I don't ever want to have to delete media to make room, call me selfish.
5) Probably still no SD slot
It is highly unlikely that after 24 different iPhone iterations since it was introduced in 2007 that Apple would introduce an SD card slot now. I'm guessing mostly for size, security, and structural reasons.
That's 5 reasons why the next iPhone might have 1 TB of storage available.
