The Black Swan — Nassim?Taleb

The second time I finished it. This book gives the ultimate explanation of Black Swans = extreme unexpected events. These events have the power to disconfirm existing ones (white swans).

Taleb outlines two worlds: Mediocristan (where the bell-curve rules) and Extremistan (where 80/20 rules). Most of our world lies in Extremistan, where a small number dominate the market.

The Bed of Procrustes — Nassim?Taleb

A collection of aphorisms that could be modern Tweets. Very entertaining and sometimes harsh unfiltered thoughts from the mastermind of Taleb. You can get this very short book here.

This audiobook contains all necessary lectures from Goldratt about the Theory of Constraints and how it can be used to improve companies (and personal life) dramatically.

The Boron Letters — Gary?Halbert

Copywriting is such a valuable skill, and this book gives a solid introduction and instructions from the best copywriter of all time. Twenty-five letters he wrote to his son illustrate (with a quirky writing style) how to go about it.
