5 Quick Tips to Make Sure Your Headshots Look Amazing

We here at Bunker LA have done a lot of printing for actors over the years. We’ve seen some stellar headshots but we’ve also seen some not so stellar headshots too.

Here are some really simple tips that’ll help you get the most out of your next photo shoot.

1. Keep it simple!

Save the loud 80’s style multi-color sweater for the ugly Christmas sweater party and hipsters in Silver Lake because less is more when it comes to headshots.

2. Drink plenty of water and eat healthy.

You’re getting into a profession where the worlds most talented, beautiful, and healthy people in the world are in competition for a single line on CSI, so you really need to bring your A-game. Besides, this is something you should do anyway.

3. Find a good photographer.

Photographers are a dime a dozen in Los Angeles so be sure to go with someone with a good reputation and an even better online portfolio.

4. Find a reproduction printer.

5. Do your homework!

Watch a lot of TV and commercials and take note of what your age range and character types are wearing. You’re not doing yourself any favors if your covered in tattoos and you have a picture of yourself in a business suit.
