5 Questions You Have Before Starting Your Health & Fitness Program

The 5 Main Problems You Are Worried About When It Comes To Starting Your Fitness Program

1)   You understandably don’t want to go to a big box commercial gym. It’s intimidating, no-one knows your name and no one cares about you or your journey to lose weight.

If I had €1 for every potential client walked in the door and said they had a life gym membership with Westwood or Crunch fitness…I’d be hundreds of euros richer. They want your money, they want you to pay them for a whole year and they don’t care if you attend or not.

We offer a short, doable, initial 6 week program to help you change,then offer you the opportunity to continue with us if it’s a good fit, for a minimum 3 month period. The reason we do this is to give you the opportunity to show you what we can do. No contracts, just results.


2)   Losing weight and looking better (and all that comes with it) are the two most important reasons you want to start exercising, not to get healthier as you may lead people to believe…and that’s ok

Tone up, get healthier and fitter. Uh hmmm…anything other reason you are here? I ask during consultations.

You want to look better in your nip and the confidence that that brings. I’m no different. There is always a deeper layer to the reasoning we tell ourselves why we want to do something. It’s usually to feel a certain way.

 

3)   You struggle to find time to exercise due to child care or work, but mainly due to not prioritising it.

I can’t, I don’t have time, I’m tired, I’ve no one to mind the kids. Yup, all valid excuses but excuses none the less. It’s hard, so hard, but the benefits of getting results greatly outweigh the negatives when it comes to prioritizing your health and you time

 

4)   Will you be able to keep up with others in class?

The classes we run are filled with folk just like you. 40-70 year old males (in our fit dad classes) and females (the majority of our members). We cater our classes with our clienteles best interests in mind. Not like some places, where inexperienced instructors are asking you to do things that they do in their training regimes…crazy right? You will be brought a series of basic movements to make sure you can carry them out safely and competently with far less risk of injury.



5)   Will you be able to stick to the plan and get results that you’ve seen others get.

Like when embarking on anything worthwhile, change and sacrifice is a pre requisite. You are coming to us because you want to change certain things in your life, with change comes sacrifice. We help, guide and cut through the bs to help you get you the results you desire. It’s taken time to get to this point. Usually the time comes, when the pain of staying in your current situation becomes more that the fear of starting something new. We ask you to sacrifice in terms of time spent, changes in dietary terms, but also give you direct replacements to help make it as easy as possible. There will be tough times, no one said it would be easy, but I promise you it will be worth it.
