A decade ago, Kathrin started Skinnovation a student conference and turned into an internationally recognized Innovation & Startup Festival. 1?? Your best/worst Skinnovation moment ever?
Worst: Definitely when we had to cancel the event 2 days before it's start due to Covid-19 in March 2020, so much work over an entire year just canceled in 2 minutes.
Best: So many amazing moments of meeting people, creating memories together and just feeling the Skinnovation spirit. I can't decide on only one!
2?? If you weren’t organizing Skinnovation - what would you be doing?
This is a difficult question, then my life would have probably taken a completely different turn 10 years ago. Would I have stayed so long in Innsbruck, originally it was only planned for a year? Probably, I would still be into organising something. Maybe I would have stayed more active within the startup ecosystem in Africa ??
3?? One item you can’t ski without??
A bandana, I cannot stand getting a cold neck ???
4?? If Skinnovation would expand to any other sport, which would it be?
We already did a Skinnovation Bike & Hike edition in Summer 2020, so I guess expanding to these sports would be easy. Personally, I would also love an edition with horseback riding, but I guess this would be a bit more complicated to organise ??
5?? Best advice you’ve ever received?
