Can you believe we’re racing toward the end of 2024? It’s that time of year again when we pause, reflect, and gear up to make 2025 our best year yet.
So here’s a question for you:
When was the last time you REALLY checked in on your strategic vision?
Introducing Your 2025 CEO Strategy Checklist ??
I came across a McKinsey checklist for CEOs and was inspired to tailor it?for powerhouse women like you. Because let’s face it: you're not just building a business, you're?balancing growth, impact, and everything in between.
So here's what I encourage you to do this week:
?Block off your “CEO Strategy” time in your calendar
?Grab your laptop, journal, or a pen and paper
?Go DND. Seriously, no interruptions
?Reflect deeply on these one of these?key questions, then schedule the other questions - one per week - taking you to mid December
The Questions:
1) Is your vision for 2025 clear, and inspiring?
Your team isn’t just following orders; they’re following you. Ask yourself, does your vision align with where you want your business (and your life) to be in 3, 5, or 10 years??Because if it doesn’t light you up, it won’t ignite them either.
2) Are you spending enough time on strategy vs. execution?
If you’re knee-deep in daily operations, it’s time to zoom out. Ask yourself:
3) Is your team set up for scalable success?
Every business thrives on its people. Consider:
Pro tip: Look at processes you can automate (I’m obsessed with integrations like Zapier).
4) Are you measuring what matters?
You know the saying: What gets measured, gets managed. Focus on key indicators like customer retention, revenue, profit margins?and team productivity. Don’t get bogged down in vanity metrics.
5) Are you investing in yourself?
Your business reflects you. Invest in your personal development, whether it’s a new skill, leadership training, or simply stepping away for rest. Reflecting on 2024, what's one area you will look to develop yourself in going into 2025?
2025 isn’t waiting,?and neither should you. The clearer your answers to these questions, the sharper your focus and intentionality will become.
