5 Points for Test Automation in Agile

Straight to points:

1. Regression test in agile would fail to deliver optimal result without carefully planned automation test suite, so have enough time to plan.                         Tip: Create a test automation backlog with suggested fields here.

2. Continuous Integration is the key, which means deploy trigger, notification emails, performance and impact metrics should be given priority. Tip : Automate testing of 'continuous integration'.

3. Communicate and keep on your toes for any product change that may leave your test strategy vulnerable. 

4. Select the Right Tools : No silver bullets here either Jimmy, so don't be obsessed with a tool just because you are comfortable with it; explore small and effective tools for task at hand. Get a Test-toolsmith or better become one. 

5. Most importantly convince management to add resources / tools by selling your test strategy, make it transparent, comprehensive and cost saving.
