With the province now in Stage 2, Toronto is bustling with the opening of patios across the city, finally. If you are feeling comfortable and are looking to enjoy a nice night out, here are 5 patios we recommend you check out. Don’t forget to bring a mask!
1. Cibo Wine Bar
Patios at all their locations are open and ready for business. Enjoy some exceptional Italian cuisine, and wine of your choice with a loved one on a warm summer evening at either the King West, Yonge Street, or Yorkville locations. You can reserve your table by visiting their website or walk-ins are always welcome. We highly recommend ordering the polenta fries and mozzarella di bufala to start.
2. District Eatery
Boasting a beautiful rooftop patio, District Eatery on King West is open to serve you tasty cocktails on a hot summer day. Their menu is completely inclusive offering many vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu items. If you want a menu light on fried foods but heavy on amazing cocktails, then this is the place for you. Check them out!
3. Hemingway’s
This iconic patio is open and ready to serve the Toronto community. Located in the heart of Yorkville, Hemingway’s offers a casual, rooftop experience in a more snazzy neighbourhood. If you like Sangria, you will love this quaint, New Zealand inspired restaurant. And you can book reservations too!
4. Her Father’s Cider
Ciders, ciders, and more ciders. If you have never visited this small restaurant you are missing out. Located in the Harbord Village, Her Father’s Cider is the place to try out craft cider. Their fridge is stocked with almost 100 different ciders from places all around the world including France, Spain, New Zealand, and Canada, and their taps are rotating. Order a flight to experience three 5 ounce glasses of different ciders on tap. You can reserve your table on their website
5. Score on King
Need to curb that weekend hangover? Head down to Score on King and try one of their amazing Caesar creations starting at just $13. Choose Caesar’s topped with onion rings, deep-fried pickles, and even an entire burger. If you are feeling adventurous try out the Checkmate Caesar topped with a full meal including an entire roasted cornish hen, pulled pork mac ‘n’ cheese, and a brownie. You will not be disappointed in this establishment.
