5 New Coolest Salesforce Summer'22 Features

It’s that time of the year again! Another Salesforce release is on its way with some fantastic features. Releases bring excitement not only for the admins and developers but also for our users.WAIT..! If you are a newbie to Salesforce and not sure what Summer Release is. Then Don’t Worry!! You are in the right place.

So first we should know what is a RELEASE?? Salesforce comes with updates and new features three times(Winter, Spring, and Summer) each year for Salesforce Customers. So they can use new features and enhancements the right way.

Before the further delay, let’s jump into our top 6 features for this? Release.?

1. Customize and Filter Related Lists in the Lightning App Builder

?Dynamic related lists add a new component to Lightning pages. we can Customize related lists directly from the Lightning App Builder instead of the page layout editor with the new Dynamic Related List - Single component. Choose the list’s fields and sort order, apply filters, and give the list a descriptive name. To see the most relevant records, set up two related lists with different filters on the same object.

2. Create Custom Address Fields

??Have you ever found yourself thinking about how useful it would be to be able to create custom fields that function as a standard address field? So here is an end to your waiting, you can create an address as a Custom Field is in Beta from the Summer `22 release.?

Custom Address Fields improve address data accuracy and users’ experience and create custom fields that mimic the behavior of standard address fields. One thing you need to remember, is you need to have State and Country/Territory picklists configured first otherwise the new field isn’t available.

3. Share Individual Campaigns with Colleagues in Lightning

????Previously, Only we can share an individual campaign record with another Salesforce user using the Classic feature this feature is now available in Lightning Experience. A campaign owner can set sharing settings and view the sharing hierarchy from the action menu on a campaign record.

4. Picklists

Salesforce Sumer ’22 added Four new features related to picklists. Let’s see what they are -

• Clean Up Inactive Picklist Values (Beta): Previously, custom picklists with many inactive values were difficult to maintain because you deleted inactive values one at a time, Here It’s Come with a solution now? You can now bulk delete inactive picklist values in custom picklist fields instead of having to do it one by one!?

• Bulk Manage Piclist: This feature gives you the ability to manage picklist values more efficiently and??Save more time managing your picklists. You can now delete, activate, deactivate?and replace multiple custom picklist field values at once, Instead of one at a time.

• Get a List of Custom Picklist Fields with Inactive Values: This one helps to manage your inactive picklist values and enforces limits on inactive values for custom picklists to improve system performance and overall health. Now you can opt to receive an email when custom picklist fields have more than 4,000 inactive values, whereas before, you would have had to check each field individually.

• Learn Which Picklist Values Are Duplicates: Previously, you just saw a message that reported only that there were duplicate values which is not much helpful especially when you are creating a long list of new values. This Summer ‘22 release resolve the issue and now You get a descriptive message that tells you which picklist values are duplicates when you add new picklist values.

5. New Product Names:

As products continue to grow and add new features, inevitably, sometimes the original name isn’t fit for purpose anymore. Salesforce has recently renamed an al lot of their products. So Let’s see what they are -

• High-Velocity Sales is renamed to Sales Engagement
• myTrailhead is part of a new solution called Sales Enablement
• Salesforce Renames 6 marketing cloud products:
• Messaging/Journeys/ → Marketing Cloud Engagement
• Interaction Studio → Marketing Cloud Personalization
• Datorama → Marketing Cloud Intelligence
• Salesforce CDP → Marketing Cloud Customer Data Platform
• Advertising Studio → Marketing Cloud Advertising
• Pardot → Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
