Can you give us an insight into your career path and how you ended up working within the lab industry?

I’ve always gravitated toward roles centred on problem-solving and customer interaction. The lab industry appealed to me because it demands precision, high standards, and a continuous drive for improvement. I enjoy the challenge of helping clients make informed product choices and sharing my knowledge to guide them. It’s an environment that keeps me on my toes and motivates me, as every day presents new opportunities to influence outcomes and elevate industry standards.

What is something that keeps you motivated within the industry or what influences your decisions on how you work?

The process of following a project from its inception to the final installation is exhilarating, especially when the results exceed client expectations. This journey is a constant motivator. At Performance Panels, nearly 30 years of experience and a dedicated team allow us to balance retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities. Our strong partnerships and in-house creative capabilities play a significant role in driving growth and delivering quality.

Where do you see either you or the future of the lab industry going?

For my personal growth, I’m focused on expanding my responsibilities within the business and deepening my expertise. I’m eager to contribute to the company’s strategic direction and long-term success alongside a team that shares my ambitions.

Looking at the lab industry, I believe it’s built on a strong foundation, like Performance Panels. With evolving demands from public and private sectors, the industry is well-positioned to meet new expectations. Advances in quality, design, and sustainability will be key, as clients increasingly seek efficient, durable, and visually appealing solutions. Sustainability, in particular, will continue to shape innovation, aligning with businesses’ efforts to reduce environmental impact.
