Celebrating 87 years! ?? On November 5, 1937, Senator Kenneth McKellar dedicated McKellar Field (now Tri-Cities Airport), a landmark moment in Tennessee aviation history. This can't miss event featured captivating performances?as well as the scheduled arrival of the "Southerner," an American Airlines Tri-Motor Skysleeper, from Los Angeles. For nearly nine decades, we have served as the Tri-Cities Airport, connecting Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol with the world. We are proud to be a shining example of community spirit and dedication. Here’s to many more years of adventure and growth together! ?????
