Mindset.
We all know the powerful role that mindset plays...
In our personal life.
In our work.
In our leadership.
So my question for you today is...
Are you ready to transform your approach to learning and development within your nonprofit?
In episode 77 of Learning for Good, I explored five mindset shifts that are essential for enhancing training and leadership development strategies. These shifts have the potential to drive real impact and propel our organizations forward.
1. Partnering for Impact
One of the most important shifts I share is seeing ourselves as strategic partners within our nonprofits, not just order-takers.
2. Embracing Change
Your workforce will change, and that's okay - you can lean into change and find new ways to engage employees.? I encourage us to embrace change and see it as an opportunity for growth.?
3. Treating Training as Change
I emphasize treating every training project as a transformative change initiative. By focusing on supporting staff through organizational shifts, we can drive effective behavior change and ensure the success of our initiatives.
4. Learning from Setbacks
I encourage learning from failure. Not every effort needs to succeed - there is learning and growth that comes from failure. Viewing challenges as opportunities for growth and adaptation allows us to refine our strategies and continuously improve.

5. Impacting Well-being
Drawing from Gallup's well-being framework, I highlight how training and leadership development can positively influence various aspects of well-being across areas like career, social, financial, physical, and community.
