What I'm Trying

Celery Juice: "The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time". My friend Cory recommended drinking celery juice as a part of an overall effort to heal the body, so I bought a few stalks of celery and ordered a juicer to feel what happens. Time will tell, but judging by all the hoopla around it, I am looking forward to the results. :) "Celery juice's ability to create sweeping improvements on every level of our health:

  • Healing the gut and relieving digestive disorders
  • Balancing blood sugar, blood pressure, weight, and adrenal function
  • Neutralizing and flushing toxins from the liver and brain
  • Restoring health in people who suffer from a vast range of chronic and mystery illnesses and symptoms, among them fatigue, brain fog, acne, eczema, addiction, ADHD, thyroid disorders, diabetes, SIBO, eating disorders, autoimmune disorders, Lyme disease, and eye problems"

What I'm 'Meditating' On

Sensing Into Love. Yup, that's it. Just sensing into the feeling of love in the body, in the air, in the world. Inviting the felt, visceral sense of caring curiosity, loving awareness, simple kindness... Whatever you call it, I invite myself to feel it... How long can I feel it for... What does it feel like... How does it change over time... What gets in the way of feeling it with worthiness...

What We Recently Shared

Big Mind Guided Meditation. This audio meditation from one of my favorite teachers (Guy Armstrong) is helpful for sensing into a spacious mind, putting common stressors into their proper perspective. One of my all time favorites.

What I'm Reading (With My Daughter)

Love Is (Illustrated Story About Love for Parents and Children) A sweet book for young children about the challenges and joys that come with giving and receiving love. This beautifully illustrated book tells the story of a little girl and a duckling who both grow to understand what it means to care for each other as they learn that love is as much about letting go as it is about holding on. When a little girl finds a duckling who has wandered away from the park onto the city streets, she takes it home to care for it. The baby duck requires constant attention—early morning feedings, bathing, and tidying—until the time comes to say goodbye. When her pet has grown too big for the bath, the girl takes the full-grown duck back to the pond. Afterward, she misses it and wonders if it remembers her . . . until one day, the duck comes back—with six ducklings of her own.

Walking Meditation

Take my hand.

We will walk.

We will only walk.

We will enjoy our walk

without thinking of arriving anywhere.

Walk peacefully.

Walk happily.
