5 Micro-habits to boost your energy

Creating good #habits is the secret to optimizing your health and life, but in our fast-paced world, many people struggle to do that.

An easy way to do that is to start is understand what outcome you want to achieve and break down the plan to achieve that into small actions or micro-habits.

The real skill though is in understanding what small actions or micro-habits will have the biggest ROI for your wellbeing, because that is what will feed your #motivation and adherence to your new chosen path.

Here, is a list of 5 simple but highly effective micro-habits that will help you boost your energy, regulate your sleep, and improve your metabolic health.


1. Set your circadian rhythms. Setting your circadian rhythms will help increase your levels of energy during the day and help you sleep well at night. You can do that by exposing yourself to daylight/sunlight for at least 10 min early in the morning.

2. Mobilize your spine. Movement of the spine is nourishment for the brain.

3. Do some movement breaks or exercise snacks for #lunch to break the cycle of sitting, and increase energy and focus by boosting your in a healthy way.

4. Have a 10-15 min walk after a heavy meal to reduce glycemic and metabolic impact.

5. Dim the lights in the evening. This will signal your brain that is time to sleep and will help you have a more restorative sleep.
