5 MAJOR Changes You Can Make To Your Content Strategy That Will Help You CONNECT With Your Clients + Generate More Biz From Social Media

Today, I’m sharing 5 MAJOR changes you can make to your content strategy that will help you CONNECT with your clients + generate more biz from social media:

1 - Get painstakingly clear on who you are talking to. I want to know where they are getting their current information. What keeps them up at night? WHY aren’t they already getting the results they want? What is causing them pain? What makes them happy? What do they need MORE of in their life?

2 - Address a very specific problem that they are dealing with (if you can’t identify this.. then go back to step one, you’re not clear enough yet) describe the pain points in detail, and tap into the emotions they are likely feeling as a result of this pain. For example: Inconsistency in monthly closings.. one month is 3 next is zero. The pain of this is uncertainty, anxiety, feelings of failure or ‘letting down’ their family, nervousness, thinking about getting a second job, tired of borrowing money from family when the going gets tough. ?

3 - Now that you’re clear on your target, you address their pain… they are going to be feeling two major things. 1 - Comfort in knowing that they are not alone.. that others have felt this or that you understand what they are going through. 2 - “wtf are you going to do about it” haha they want to know what solutions are out there that they HAVEN’T tried! Start by suggesting possible solutions they probably have tried, and discredit them or state reasons why they aren’t the best option. ?

4 - Show + Tell! Demonstrate YOUR solution, why it's going to solve their problems, HOW it's going to solve their problems and how we are going to get them from point A to point B on a path of least resistance + maximum certainty.?

5 - Make it COMPELLING. Not every piece of content has to be earth shattering, transformational, problem solving novels. But when you’re trying to sell… these elements ought to be present. In the other times + supplementary content - always pull in one (or all) of the 3 E’s — Emotion, Entertainment + Education.
