Happy Tuesday friends. You’re joining ~19k+ readers who trust me with their inbox.
Psst… I’ve moved my weekly newsletter to ConvertKit. If you missed my last 4 articles, sign up below to join the new platform.?
One of my favorite articles I keep coming back to is Sahil Bloom’s Most Valuable Razors.?
No, it’s not a Gillette ad. It’s a list of frameworks that help you cut through the noise.
After flagging the list, I thought to myself why not share my top picks with the newsletter fam. So here we are.
The TL;DR: Making smart decisions is hard. These 5 frameworks help you do the heavy lifting.?
Pour yourself some espresso and let’s dive in…
Where Are Your Smart Friends Looking?
The best way to predict the future is to be friends with futurists.?
If your smart friends are following something, you’ll naturally keep your eyes on it. You’ve heard the line, “Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future”.?
This is no different. If you have close friends that keep their eye on unique opportunities, you’ll start noticing your mind turn gears in similar ways.?
My advice: evaluate your list of friends. Jot down a couple of them that have successfully pounced on futuristic ideas. Ask them how they spot, validate and execute them. If you’re willing to get your hands dirty, ask them to teach you how you can do the same.
How To Be A Time Billionaire
Money billionaires are always talked about. Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Warren Buffett. The whole list is here.
But few people talk about time billionaires. Spoiler alert. For the math wiz kids reading, you’re right. No one lives a billion years.?
If human life is 80 years old, they have 28,835 days on Earth. In hours that comes up to roughly 700,000. Kinda crazy to see that number in writing.?
The point is: that everyone is born time wealthy.? We all have a lot of time on our hands. And when we age, we continue to lose it.?
Yet we keep exchanging our time for money, forgetting that one fills up the harder we work, while the other never fills up regardless of how hard we work.
A good question to ask is: “Would I advise my best friend to spend their time this way?”?
Time will always be against you. You will keep running out of it. Find ways to break that.?
To maximize your time as a time billionaire, focus on things you love and delegate or delete the rest.
Grit Takes You Further Than Skill?
Grit matters more than skill.
When choosing a co-founder, an investor, a spouse, or even a friend, choose the one whose been knocked down and has gotten up again.?
It’s also a great reminder: We often judge people by their merit and not by their courage.?
Applies to your own self too.?

Failure greets everyone. But only a few dare to dream again despite the fear.?
Hedge your bets on people that have grit.?
Climb Up Or Down?
What would you rather choose: difficulty today or tomorrow??
We tend to avoid pain or discomfort. It’s programmed in our DNA.?
But to be able to embrace a painful short-term route that leads to a long-term benefit is a success hack most people learn by trial and error.?
Another good question to ask: “Is this moving us towards growth or towards stagnancy?
Effort compounds if you give it proper time to grow.
Trust Is the Ultimate Success Strategy?
The Pygmalion Effect:?
High expectations lead to high performance (and vice versa).
In any situation, choose to see the best in people and in yourself and you’ll begin to achieve a lot more.?
Sometimes, faith can be the lever that accelerates the process.?
If you’re wondering how to get better results, make trust your default strategy.?
