5 Leads to Learn How to Welcome Change

Hi everyone. Today I found a great article in Modern Life Blogs that I know many of you will enjoy reading or possibly relate to. The original article can be found here -  https://www.modernlifeblogs.com/2012/08/5-leads-to-learn-how-to-welcome-change/ - if you’d like to read the article there, or I’ve pasted parts of it here to share it. It’s well worth a read.

Life is sweet and beautiful when it feels comfortable and somewhat uneventful. While it provides you with a sense of control and full mastery of the moment, it also carries its inseparable twin brother: change. Indeed, life, being an endless flow, it never truly stops moving and never refrain from bringing the new and the unknown. Change is, by definition, unpredictable and yet simultaneously it is the only true constant we must expect from life.

The beauty about change is that it holds everything that has the potential to make you feel greater, more meaningful and more purposeful. This is due to the Principle of Experience that humanity has accepted as a path. Experience is to humankind what breath is to lungs. It is its core function. The more diverse its experiences and the greater its capacity to fulfill its destiny which is knowing.

The dichotomy lies in the fact that this very destiny, as great as it is, represents the most misunderstood and scary part for the human mind. Somehow, change tends to vibrate with fear and stability with strength. The ultimate experience for the mind is to make change the space where stability is anchored and ultimately embraced for the greater good of self and all. In order to embrace change, you must, first, give it a chance, for it, to be understood.

Here are 5 little insights to read with an open heart and learn how to welcome change with a open mind.

1 – Seek for the bigger Picture

There is always more to you than what your mind may suspect. Knowing this is already a path that leads you to the possibility of something ready to be born about which you have no conscious awareness at the moment. Being open to new possibilities is the ultimate attitude to attract new opportunities for you to expand, grow and experience more of who you are. Always opt for a mindset that allows you to seek for the bigger pictures within you and maintain an open mind in all circumstances especially when stability is challenged.

2 – Have a little faith in Life

Change is the master in disguise. It is the Yoda of your life and its greatest lesson always lies in your abilities to overcome your fear with knowing more of your own power. Remember that whenever change is coming towards you, you are ready to embrace the space to accept it. Your Faith in life brings your mind before the door where you find yourself ready to open your world onto more of your own greatness. Trusting that this same faith that has taken your steps into greatness is also working with you in revealing it. Change is simply Life saying “have faith in me, there is more for you where you cannot see yet, trust me.

3 – Remind yourself about your Dream

Every change is a step you must stand on to get towards what you wish to reveal to yourself and the world. Remember that wherever your focus goes is the direction towards which the energy is moving to create your reality. When change is coming your way, it invites you to reconsider your focus and make sure that whatever you have wished for until now is still what you wish for in the future. Think about it as a way to define your dream with great awareness. Change is the friend who rings your mind’s bell to find out the best way to direct your creative process onto the right place.

4 – Bring relativity to the Moment

Change is a scary place for the mind and yet it remains what takes you from yesterday to today and tomorrow. Always try to bring relativity to your fear for change. Reevaluate the last time you consciously knew you were changing and look at what it did to you. You are still breathing, experiencing and frankly growing up! The adage “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is what change is all about. Take away the drama that the mind projects into the moment and reattach your focus into the fact more than the inability for the mind to control the situation.

5 – Accept your own Nature

The acceptance of your own nature is ultimately what will bring you the sense of stability you seek to face change anytime it shows up. Love, strength, power and infinite are a few assets that your truest being hold and make you who you are essentially. You are change by excellence, you are transformation in the revealing, you are flow in constant motion. Embrace your own nature and where your eyes see unknown, your heart remembers Truth. From Truth, your capacity to embrace more of it becomes natural and effortless. Be the change you wish to see in the world, Gandhi said. I feel he was true.

Great article. I like the idea of opting for a mindset that allows us to seek the bigger picture. Opening up our awareness and letting in the possibility that there can be a different picture than what we are currently experiencing. ??
