5 Leadership Qualities that I have learned from the Wall

The walls around us are more than just physical structures; they can also be metaphorical barriers that limit our growth and potential. By observing and reflecting on the qualities of walls, we can gain valuable insights into leadership and personal development. Here are five leadership qualities that I have learned from the wall:

1.?? Stoicism

When faced with a tough situation, be stoic in your approach. The turbulent phase will pass away. By a stoical approach I don’t mean be indifferent to the situation at hand but show patience and tolerance in handling the crisis.

?

2.?? Keen Observance

Keep a watch over everything that is happening in your domain. Be a silent and keen observer; the team should never get the impression that you are apathetic towards the goings-on around you.

?

3.?? Firmness

Be firm in whatever you do; like any action that you take, any decision that you make should show strength. Take time to take action or make a decision but when you do that, don’t waver, don’t vacillate.

?

4.?? Emotional Intelligence

Never ever your team member should feel that you are biased. If you show too much interest in some members and ignore others, then it will create unnecessary friction. Of course there will be a difference between the performers, the outperformers and the underperformers but never make it personal when dealing with them.

?

5.?? Reliability

If the team cannot rely upon you then as a leader you are a failure. At any moment your team shouldn’t feel you cannot be trusted upon. Show that you are reliable by never letting your team down whenever they come to you with a problem or issue, personal or professional, though both have to be dealt with differently. Never break your commitment.?
