A leader is a person who influences and encourages a group of people to work towards the ultimate goal. The hallmark of leadership is the capacity to influence others towards accomplishing goals and towards betterment.

As Chester Barnard states, “Leadership is the ability of a superior to influence the behaviour of a subordinates or group and persuades them to follow a particular course of action.”

And hence it is irrespective of gender.

The world has seen uncountable men who lead their ways but very handful of female, even though women always find their way to do it in unique way.

01. Motivate and Inspire others through Appreciation

Female leaders are seen to be more open when it comes about appreciating publicly which proves their equal concern towards the employees and the business.

Keeping the Belief in encouraging people and motivating their excellence. It’s nice to send a personal note to acknowledge the fantastic work that an employee did for a client, but mentioning it in a team meeting or in front of others, shows the entire team that you value that worker’s contribution. Be specific. Mention the specific person out by name and describe what she or he did to accomplish this gratitude. Do this for employees irrespective of any discrimination.?Acknowledging their value to your organization can ease fears about employment instability. And with less stress, workers are more likely to be inspired to strive for excellence.

02.?Be Resilient, yet Flexibility

Women rely on their emotional intelligence (EQ) to recognize and manage anxiety. This helps female leader’s focus on what’s important. Instead of dwelling on the negative, they look to the positive for what they can control. If you apply this lesson, you can clear your mind and identify steps to keep your business running.??

A key aspect of resilience that is often overshadowed is the ability to adapt to change while pursuing compassion for others. As a woman, throughout a career, she adapts to change like incorporating different communication style to relate to different co-workers, managers, and clients. Because of this flexibility, it has been observed that female leaders are able to build strong, emotional connections for highly effective partnerships.?

03. Show Empathy and Support Activities.

Stay connected to staff and customers especially when you aren’t there around. Try to bond on a deeper level by paying attention to their environment, and how they’re behaving in it.?

When you’re on a video conference, notice body language or any unusual difference.

Is the person in a house with distracting kids or spouse? Or does he or she look lonely and isolated in their apartment?

If something seems dull, follow up privately and ask how they are doing. Some people won’t feel comfortable expressing their feelings aloud, so try to notice and respond to their emotional cues.

For employees, be mindful of what people enjoy doing and give opportunities that uplift their energy

04. Embrace encompassing

Encompassing means listening to and using ideas from people of different races, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, religions, ages, and sexual orientations than your own.

The main reason being underrepresentation of their executive roles which make them more adaptive to the ideas from different people and their diverse backgrounds.

05. Receive Feedback

Women in leadership often welcome feedback.

Use this to strengthen your company. Find out what is important to your employees by?asking?them. What are the issues that concern them? Is it getting sick? Or lack of childcare? How can you offer better support to them? Discover what you can to do to make your employees feel safe to come back to work. Use HR surveys for this work.

And make sure to get diverse opinions from people from different levels, departments, and backgrounds.?
