Its so important that we use International Men’s Day on 19th November to highlight some of the issues that men are facing right now both at a corporate level (see 6 reasons your business should be planning to mark International Men’s Day) and at a personal level.?
Whether it is for yourself, your friends or your partner, below are just five of the inspiring events we and others are putting together to help support and inspire men to become the best they can be. 11 个月International Men Day is on 19 November- thank you so much Daniele Fiandaca for a great list of events to mark the day. In the UK, men account for around three-quarters of all suicides. Having lost a close (female) family member to suicide, I understand the tragic impact this has on loved ones and society as a whole. Thank you for creating these events to allow a respectful conversation on gender equity, masculinity and men's mental health.

11 个月Make sure that all the privileged sexist men who are celebrated everyday of the year know they have a special day. Their “whataboutism” when microaggression, discrimination, harassment, and violence against women and girls is focused on truly makes me want to vomit. Yes it is #allmen because #allmen know men who demonstrate sexism and they do nothing. #sexism in action
