Hope you are doing well and having a great weekend. What fun and relaxing things are you doing? As for me, I made my favorite veggie puffs again! We were busy with the bootcamp from July 8-12 and then onboarding the members. After that I have been busy packing to now spend the next few months in Seattle. Finished shipping all the boxes today.
As I was packing, I was reflecting on the 5 key inner traits every leader must cultivate. These lessons emerged from the training I provided in the bootcamp and from the amazing guest leaders who shared their experiences.
1. Self-Partnership:
Leaders who are deeply self-aware and have achieved inner harmony exude the confidence and certainty needed to inspire their teams. This self-partnership is about honoring their needs and feelings, emotional regulation, being there for themselves in their highs and lows, self-acceptance at all levels and a high self-love quotient. I covered this on Day 1 and you can find the video training here.
2. Become the person people want to invest in:
Legendary investor Vinod Khosla famously said VCs invest in people, not just ideas. This rings true in the competitive world of venture capital - you, the leader, are just as important as your business concept. As Vinod Sujan echoed on Day 2 of the bootcamp (link here), it's not just about VCs. Strive to become a leader who:
3. Raise your adversity quotient
As a leader, challenges are inevitable. But what if you could not only weather them, but emerge stronger? On Day 3 Sangeeta Goel an entrepreneur and tech leader and EASE Certified Coach talked about Raising your Adversity Quotient (AQ) to navigate difficult situations with grace. Instead of seeing setbacks as roadblocks, you can transform them into springboards for growth, inspiring your team to face adversity with confidence. You can watch Day 3 here.
4. Raise your risk quotient
Great leaders don't shy away from calculated risks. They understand that innovation and progress often lie just beyond their comfort zone. By raising your Risk Quotient (RQ), you can develop the strategic risk-taking skills necessary to drive growth and seize opportunities. On Day 4 Mukesh Goel shared his 20 year journey in entrepreneurship and how his risk appetite helped him grow a business empire spanning multiple verticals. He also gave some tips on how people can increase their risk appetite. Watch Day 4 here.

5. Warrior mindset
On Day 5 Govinda Das discussed the difference between a warrior and a war monger. He shared how a warrior mindset is a combination of balanced feminine and masculine traits. He further talked about that is important in building large MNCs. He gave a very interesting take on feminine and masculine traits and explained that in the context of growing one's organization and raising one's family. You can catch Day 5 here.
When you as a leader can cultivate these 5 inner traits, it becomes easier to cultivate the following 5 outer traits:
These outer traits were also covered on all 5 days of the bootcamp. Hope you enjoy the replays!
