I‘m always on the lookout for articles with the potential to positively change a business. What’s your take on the following points I came across recently?

Passive Solar Design

A rural property is exposed to the elements more than an urban or a suburban property. It also gives you an opportunity to take advantage of the elements to heat and cool your home.

Preserve the Past

Many rural properties already have old buildings on them. They may not look like much, but with a few renovations, you can put them to use and make them an appealing part of your landscape. Even if you have an old tin shed on the property, you can turn it into a funky-but-chic spare room or shed.

Make the Most of Your Views

A rural property allows you to add extra windows and glass doors without feeling like you're living in a glass house that's open to prying eyes. Make the most of your views with bigger windows and banks of bifold or sliding glass doors. Double glazing will help protect your interior from temperature extremes. It costs more, but is worth the extra investment.
