If you have been avoiding updating your #profileshot #corporateheadshot or know it's time for a #personalbranding shoot but don't know where to start, here's 5 #tips to help guide you with some bonus pointers at the end.
- Avoid large stripes, busy patterns and large text on your clothing unless it's your company uniform. (These can be distracting or date your image quickly)
- If you aren't used to being in front of the camera, then allow extra time to settle, so you can relax and allow the photographer to capture a great smile or expression. If possible, allow buffer time around your photoshoot session so you aren't rushing to and from the session.
- If you have a facial feature you really don't like, feel free to mention it to your photographer, it's often possible to creatively pose or light you to minimise it.
- Schedule a regular haircut/style a few hours before your photoshoot then you are guaranteed a great hair day.
