Do you think, you have a healthy lifestyle? Most people don’t ask this question until they face some kind of health issues.
I can understand, we are preoccupied with work and other commitments.
Is your health high priority?
Do you really get time to think about your health?
Are you working professional?
Are you not able to live a healthy lifestyle? or not feeling energetic at work?
If yes, then it’s time to change your lifestyle and eating habits.
Due to a busy schedule, most of the working professionals neglect the importance of a healthy diet plan or healthy life.
If you’re struggling to keep a healthy lifestyle with your insane schedule, maybe these 5 tips will give you a push in the right direction.
Never skip the breakfast:
Do you often skip your breakfast because you wake up late or you are not feeling hungry at this time?
I have seen around me a lot of people starting the day without having a proper breakfast.
Breakfast is the primary meal of the day and should not be bypassed.
Just imagine, if you sleep around at 12 pm and wake up around 9 am and then without having breakfast you leave home empty stomach, will your body be active and energetic enough to do the daily chores? No, because just like your car requires fuel to run, your body needs food to generate.
Instead of focusing on a heavy, breakfast, one should focus more on having cereals, milk, nuts, idli, cornflakes, eggs, fruits.
As per research, It is advisable to take breakfast within an hour of waking up. Health experts usually advise eating something after every two hours.
Meals at regular intervals:
People who skip breakfast they binge more on whenever they feel hungry. Your meal frequency should have regular intervals, between 2 and 3 hours apart. Example: if you have breakfast at 9 a.m., you can enjoy a snack at 11 a.m., lunch at 2 PM, your afternoon snack at 4.30 p.m. and dinner at 7.30 p.m.
Try to eat fruit or raw veggie sticks instead of snacks.
Sleep 8 hrs:
Research shows that consistently getting seven to eight hours of sleep per night is advantageous. Any more or less can increase your risk for serious conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and even death. Getting adequate quality sleep is also key to a healthy lifestyle.
30 Mins Walk:
You are very busy not getting time to do any exercise because of your crazy schedule.
At least start a walk for 30 mins, It is an awesome start for your overall health.
Manage Stress:
You have to manage stress to live a healthy life.
Please do avoid people around you that give you stress and avoid topics that make you upset.
Always look for the bright side of the situation.
What other ideas can you add to this list that I may have not mentioned?

5 年Beautiful read Harliien, what I would like to add to your well thought list is this - while you watch what you eat in terms of type/quantity, it's also important to not deny what makes you happy. And when you indulge in your fav food , don't forget to run that extra mile ??
