The history of Porto Vasconcellos dates back to the 19th century when, in 1879, José Teixeira Pinto Vasconcellos founded a wine export company that he single-handedly managed for several years. In 2011, over a century later, Quinta Dona Mafalda returned to its past and ancestral traditions of winemaking by Christie's Port Wine Producer & Shipper, Lda. This investment in restoration allows the estate to produce around 30,000 litres of wine annually, on approximately 7 hectares, distributing Port Wine worldwide.
SOCIAL MEDIA & ADS
The strategy developed and implemented for social media aimed to engage with the existing communities on these platforms, further promoting Porto Vasconcellos in the international markets. The posts and content created aimed to convey the brand's excellence, quality, and legacy.
Interaction campaigns were created for Facebook and Instagram posts. Additionally, fan acquisition campaigns on Facebook and website traffic campaigns on both Facebook and Instagram were also carried out. On Google, geolocation-based Search campaigns were implemented, with ads in Portuguese, English, and French to attract visitors to the Port Wine Cellars.
