“We're a B2B SaaS platform, so we have to have a really good team with really good processes that actually can execute on selling the product.”

2. Segment our markets with a scalable go-to-market strategy that aligns with our long-term vision

“We have a vision of this online legal system, so we have to segment the market really carefully to pick a strong focus where we can scale now. But crucially, that focus has to align with our long-term vision. We’re not trying to solve a problem for one group; we're trying to build the online legal system.“

3. Hire and retain top technical talent

“Especially in tight labor market conditions, hiring and retaining top talent is difficult. We want to ensure that our product remains (and becomes) even more competitive.”

4. Nurture existing and new investor relationships

“I started this company in my dorm room, so I remember what it's like not to have any money. We have to deliver for our investors, and that's true for the existing investors and new investors that we're getting intros to. We want to build relationships and momentum toward a stellar Series A. And that isn’t necessarily expensive, but it does take time.?
