“There is no limit in growing as an Entrepreneur!”

After 36 years of my C level corporate career, I was able to begin a new journey.

At the age of 55, I started my LinkedIn Coaching and Mentoring business. It was during the early stage of Covid and global lockdowns.

After working for British Government for over 16 years and with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) for 14 years, I have had enough of travel, reporting and fighting against odds.

It took me 24 months reaching from a C$50 revenue in a month to a Four-figure monthly revenue.

The biggest realization was “There is no limit in growing as an Entrepreneur!”

Until 2021 December, I did not know that I would actually start a business, it was only a dream. Not an easy journey at all as I was spoiled by corporate position and journey of corporate success.

But I did start the rollercoaster ride. The shift that brought challenges.

My first move was based on the fact that the global e-learning market was booming to reach around $500 Billion by 2026, and

??????E-learning can be done at learner’s own pace

??????Learning online is cost effective

Since I had been doing pro-bono coaching for over three decades, converting my experience into a business was easy. The real challenge was to re-brand myself, productize and sell.

I focused on making LinkedIn my place to connect, communicate and grow.

Cohort based coaching resulted is quick wins, where I coached Canadian immigrants use LinkedIn for job search in Canada. I now work with three Canadian institutes and coach their clients.

Next was consulting followed by creating online (on demand) courses. LinkedIn remained my focus. In the 4th quarter of 2021, I created a comprehensive course for a global E-Tech platform.

Second was another experiment where I created a LinkedIn course for jobseekers, freelancers and ecommerce professionals. That course went viral when my students started getting business via LinkedIn and a large number found their next career opportunities.

My collaboration with SCMDOJO , one of the top Supply Chain E-learning platform resulted in creating the first ever sector specific LinkedIn Course where I focused at coaching Supply Chain Professionals to use LinkedIn for professional growth and job search.

Next was Clapself , a bite-size e-Learning platform based in the US.

Here is why I kept winning:

-?????Instead of focusing on competition, I focused on my services.

-?????I worked at personal level with every student and client.

-?????I did not do push-selling, I guided them in their journey.

-?????I created the concept of conceptual correction before pushing them to learn the technical side of LinkedIn.

-?????I kept learning.

-?????My competition is not based on price, it is focused at the VALUE.

-?????I never promised things that are beyond my control.
