Well, this is true, but I don't think growth in any form can be stopped. Like time, it is a dimension that may change shape and form but will never stall to exist unless there's a black hole around.?

Although a respected film-maker, Mr Attenborough is neither an economist nor a scientist. Respectfully, history has validated belief in Human Ingenuity capable of resolving humanity's on-going existential challenges.

I totally agree with Sir David Attenborough pov. I have always felt the economic concept of a rational person maximizing utility is flawed because any practical person in this world is not just an economic agent but also a social being and environmental being with limitations which has never been taken into consideration before the introduction of externality economics. The earlier concept that free markets would take care of externalities on its own is theoretical only. In the real world every factor of the free market is interconnected to society and nature.
